VFW Mission: To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans. The California Veterans of Foreign Wars has a rich tradition of serving veterans, military families and their local communities. The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California Foundation, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies on public and corporate donations to support programs that promote citizenship, education and volunteerism and facilitates aid for active duty military veterans and their families in need of medical, rehabilitation, educational and employment services.
