It is the goal of the Cicero Fire Department to provide the best professional service, care and protection of life and property for the residents of our community and all that pass our way. Since the health and well being of our employees and the community is essential, safety must prevail in all our operations. Cicero Volunteer Fire Department (CFD) was founded in 1883 as a not-for-profit organization with two stations; Station 1 is located at 8377 Brewerton Road and Station 2 at 6109 Route 31 in Cicero, New York, in Onondaga County. The Cicero Fire Department holds a Class 4 I.S.O rating and serves the Cicero Fire District and Fire Protection District, 12 square miles with a population of 31,682 based on 2010 Census Data. CFD is one of the busiest departments in Cicero responding to 916 calls in 2011 providing fire, rescue, and emergency medical services.
