Island Garden Basketball

Island Garden is the premier youth sports facility in the Northeast. Island Garden is the home of the Long Island Lightning, AAU District Championships, Adult leagues, youth leagues, clinics, camps, birthday parties and more. Opened October 24, 1998.53,000 square foot facility that is designed to host three basketball games, as well as individual basketball and baseball instruction simultaneously.Has been used by the Knicks, Liberty and NCAA men's tournament as their practice site.Home of the John Ruggiero/Chase Bank Super League that currently has 305 teams for boys & girls ranging from 3rd through 12th grade.Over 120 games are played at Island Garden on a weekly basis.Home of the Long Island Lightning AAU Club that has 80 boys & girls teams.Hosts various AAU tournaments every weekend during the spring.
