Union Temple is an egalitarian, inclusive Reform Jewish Congregation in Brooklyn, NY. Union Temple is the first Jewish congregation to have been established in all of Brooklyn and Long Island, officially founded in 1848 by a small group of German and Alsatian Jewish immigrants living in Williamsburgh. We are a member congregation of the Union of Reform Judaism, and understand our tradition as a dynamic, ever-expanding and evolving faith.
