Varsity Club

The varsity club has presented over the years a total of 70 male and 24 female athletic/scholastic awards to the outstanding high school athletes.

• To honor an outstanding scholar athlete to be chosen from the senior classes of all of staten island’s secondary schools.
• To recognize other high school athletes through a separate award’s program.
• To form a non-sectarian club free from political, religious, social or other influence with elimination of commercialism, and/or prestige on this basis, the chairmanship of the club to be on a revolving basis.
